ANASTASIA C. AYALA

After spending her entire career in the ever-evolving beauty industry as a top marketing executive, Anastasia C. Ayala sensed an unfilled niche for a venue which offered not only typical spa or med spa services, but a holistic haven for nurturing a complete, healthy lifestyle and renewal. She believes it's simple - superior, results-driven products and advanced, personalized treatments and therapies for every age, race, gender and lifestyle.

With this idea for an integrative skincare, nutrition and wellness center - benefiting both women and men, and spanning all skin types and ages - Ayala opens the doors of her Bel Air venue, Pure Aesthetics - Pure Wellness, in September 2007. Its high ly trained staff blends their expertise with innovative, therapeutic treatments and exceptional, science-based products from the most effective skincare lines, personalizing the experience for each client's skincare, wellness and lifestyle needs.

Before starting her own company, Ayala kicked off her career at beauty powerhouse Revlon Inc. in New York as international marketing director of Latin American and Caribbean regions. After several years, she joined Proctor & Gamble in Hunt Valley, Maryland as part of the Max Factor International marketing team. Ayala later moved back to New York to become executive marketing director at Estée Lauder Inc.'s Clinique Laboratories. In 1995 she accepted the position of senior vice president for global marketing and strategic planning of Coty Beauty, Inc. During a ten-year tenure at Coty, Ayala spearheaded global marketing and strategic planning for their new acquisitions and top brands (Rimmel, Adidas, etc.) from posts in Paris, London and New York City, where she spent most of her career. Her expansive international background in the beauty industry and her passion for this business has led to a deep and intimate understanding of the ever changing consumer needs.

Though educated in Los Angeles, Ayala was born in El Salvador and is fluent in Spanish and conversational French. Thrilled to be back in her adopted hometown, she enjoys spending time with her family. In her free time (now scant with the launch of Pure Aesthetics - Pure Wellness), Ayala enjoys music, theatre, art and traveling.
